This story picks up right at the end of ‘Sold to Her Pack.’ Nella is determined to get back to her sister, asking the wolves to help her bring her sister back to Avalon. While no ones understands Nella’s magic she still finds a way to use it in an attempt to get back to her sister, putting herself in danger to the Moonrakers.
The chemistry between her and the wolves heat up but goes no more than a few kisses and light touches. We learn a little bit more about the wolves powers and only hints and teasers about Nella and the rest. Just as your sinking into the adventure the story ends, to be continued in the next book.
I voluntarily received this book for an honest review. This series has a lot going for it, interesting characters and two arching lines, one to retrieve Nella’s sister and the other how Nella is going to save Avalon but the reader is only getting a little at a time, at the end of the story there’s more unsaid and unresolved than I’m used to in my reads.
