Two sisters who’ve been estranged come together and heal and also heal their relationships with the men they love.

Brooke has OCD and has kept herself apart from her family and those she’s loved since a tragedy struck seven years ago. She’s spent that time hiding until the day her sister comes to her door at her wits end. Mindy is losing her mind and is at her sister’s door with her three children begging for help. She is stressed out, worried about her marriage and is having a melt down. Brooke agrees to take the kids for a few days to help her sister out and in the process try to make amends for the hurt she’s caused back home.

This story is full of wonderful, charming characters, overcoming emotional scares. I loved the kids and their quirky ways and how the adults manage the chaos that comes with kids and the unexpected. The emotional stress of marriage with kids for Mindy and her husband as well as the loss between Brooke and Garrett and healing power of love.

This a feel good read like warm cookies right out of the oven, about two sisters and the men they love.
