Series – Colors of Crime

Main Characters – Roman Turgenev, Mila Drozdov

Roman was the bane of her existence when Mila transferred to a prestigious private school in Russia and when she runs into quite literally in Paris years later he hasn’t seemed to change much. She left Russia to become a reporter in Paris and her first assignment turns out to be dig up the dirt on Roman.

Roman is a prince of the Paris bratva family and he can’t stand that fact that Mila can ignore him. He’s always wanted her attention but can only seem to get it when he’s making her angry. Roman has changed since his father died, he’s trying to realize his father’s dreams of legitimizing his family’s businesses and become more civilized but Mila seems to make him revert to his old bad habits.

I kept getting flashbacks of a little boy pulling a girls pigtails because he likes her but to everyone else he appears a mean bully.

I didn’t really feel the love between these two but I definitely felt the heat as their fights turned to passion and Mila sees there’s more to Roman than she realized.

A quick, easy read, although some sensitive readers may struggle with some of the initial, bully, angry, fight turned to sex scenes.

I received a free copy of this book and I’m voluntarily leaving a review. If you like my reviews I hope you will follow my blog.
