Alexander ‘Lex’ and his sister were taken in my his Uncle Justin who made him do things or he’d threaten his sister and Mackenzie. Now he’s a drummer but he still has to deal with his uncle’s abuses to keep those he loves safe.

At sixteen, Mackenzie also made a deal with Justin to save the lives of Lex and his sister. He’s been sexual abusing and torturing her for the last two years to keep them safe.

On Mackenzie’s eighteenth birthday it all comes out and Lex takes her under his care to love her and help her heal, with promises to hunt down and kill his uncle.

This may be a short read but it’s filled with so much emotion. Watching the love between Lex and Mackenzie bloom even after her rape was beautiful to read. Loved it.
