Series – Fallen
Main Characters – Caleb Price, Seth de Cruce, Melody
Caleb Price is a vet tech and Seth de Cruce is a veterinarian in a small town. They grew up and bonded in foster care and are the perfect team together.
Melody is a fallen angel, she sinned and was sent to Earth to live out her days. However their are humans hunting fallen angels that will bring danger to her doorstep.
An interesting take on fallen angels. Watching Melody learn to be human, falling for two men and figuring out how that works. She comes across very innocent and naive. As an Angel of Judgement I would have expected her to be a bit more worldly, but it worked in this story. I liked that the focus was more on these three and that while the danger surrounding them was significant it didn’t take over the story.
While it was hard to connect with the very serious Seth, it was easy to see how these three worked together, when Melody wasn’t listening to bad advice from outsiders.
