Elysande de Valance is desperate to escape after her family is killed and she is nearly beaten to death. She will endure what she must to get her secrets to the right people.

Rory didn’t realize he was going to be delivering a hunted woman, much less a badly injured one to Scotland. After realizing her injuries, learning her secret and being hunted by English soldiers, he’s determined to keep her safe.

These two are perfect for each other, watching them get to know and discover each other made for a sweet romance. Men in kilts, and saving the damsel, with a touch of simmering heat.
