Main characters – Michaeil, Trista
Trista was abused and raped by her boyfriend. When she got the call to come to Russia for her friend Dema, she packed a bag and left. She struggles with guilt over what happened to her but her new found adoptive Russian brothers help her heal.
Michail has cared for his younger sister since his father killed his mother. He works for Kronid’s organization, running guns and helping vulnerable Russian women find good husbands.
Knox and Land take us on a ride as we watch Trista escape her abuser, start to heal and find love, then survive her abusive, stalker ex.
I enjoyed Trista and Michail’s story, and the cameo appearances by the Devil’s Riot. I wish we’d had more time with the couple. There were a few little niggly items but they weren’t egregious enough to pull you out of their story.
Quick, easy read.
