Series – Magnus Pack

Hero – Zach Sheridan

Heroine – Sara Kylie Morrighan

Listened to audio narrated by Kasha Kensington. While I liked the narration, I didn’t enjoy some scenes as well as I did when I read them. Some of the playful snark, didn’t come across the same as when I read it.

Sara and her friends are loud, brash and uncompromising. Sara is scarred and has a damaged leg from an attack when she was a child. Raised by a bitter grandmother, she has some hang-ups and she has no idea that she’s a shifter. She’s suppose to be the calm one of the bunch but since they are all pretty wild that’s not saying much.

Zach and his pack came to town to reclaim Sara now that her grandmother has died and protect her. However there is an old grudge with a feline pack and they want to take their revenge on Sara. Funny outrageous moments.

Zach has been sent to watch over Sara, in an effort to postpone him taking over the pack by the alpha bitch. He also has no plans to mate but finds himself drawn to Sara and her psychotic ways.

Fair warning, this wolf pack refers to women as bitches, not in the derogatory sense but similar to describing a female dog. Sara and her friends are crazy, lots of name calling and may not appeal to everyone but I thought they were pretty funny, in their ridiculousness.
