Nate Murphy is a former Marine, turned security specialist working for the Trask brothers. While handling their security he finds himself drawn to a talented artist. She’s been avoiding him but he knows she’ll be worth the wait; he just has to be patient.
Elisa Rinaldi is on the run. She’s been hiding in Shaw’s Crossing but knows it’s time to move on, no matter how much she wants to stay.
Kendall is still gunning for all of the Trasks and when Elisa’s past finds her, she finally shares her story.
Elisa didn’t want to make any of her friends a target, especially the devastatingly attractive Nate who always seems to be there for her. He’s the quiet in the storm of her fears.
This story moves fast and furious from a wedding, to being on the run, to taking out the problems, with a heavy dose of action, danger and steam. They’ve been falling for each other for months but it’s this final push that finally brings them together.
