In this installment of the Vampire Chronicle, Lestat de Lioncourt stalks his prey and becomes enthralled by his victim’s daughter.
His hunt will have him facing the devil and God and an alternate view of creation, heaven, and hell.
It comes across very dry and for all of Lestat’s talk of loving this and that, it’s overdone to the point of making love meaningless.
The devil may want Lestat but what will Lestat choose? and in the end what is the point?
