The Overseers of an exclusive BDSM club are shaking things up a bit with a BDSM checklist game. The letter S has so many items they choose three dominants and three submissives to cover them all.

Lihn Vo, Master Vo is a thinker and a planner but the others want to grab a sub and knock out items on the list quickly. He’s uneasy about it but goes along with the other two Doms.

Julen aka Master Morton is a dedicated rope top, with years of experience.

Master Peter is a demanding sadist, who fell in love with his sub and lost her.

Diann is a hardcore masochist who enjoys degradation kink. Peter used to be her master until he fell in love with her, but she didn’t feel the same way.

Delaney ‘Laney’ is a service submissive. She tries to be perfect but finds herself often overlooked or ignored.

Joni comes to the club to let go of the reigns of control. She knows her needs and isn’t afraid to advocate for them.

When the Doms first get together, their quick plan to split the letter S ends with three unhappily aborted scenes. They must regroup, and re-evaluate before starting again with their three submissives.

Dubois delivers another great addition to the checklist series. Addressing the real-life complexities of BDSM world and relationships, while delivering sizzling heat.

Samppa Benson and Malva Leonidas were play partners until a scene went too far breaking them both. They’ve been able to avoid each other until the BDSM Checklist game forces them to play one more time or have their membership revoked.

Master Benson is a sadist and Malvia is a masochist testing and pushing her limits. She’s worked a lot on identifying her submissive and masochistic needs and hopes Master Benson’s punishment can finally heal them both.

All relationships have their bumpy spots and communication is key whether it’s a vanilla and BDSM relationships. Malvia’s journey with Benson led to mistakes but the game will help them come back together and work through the pain and the forgiveness of punishment.

Another wickedly good BDSM romance by Dubois, with intense S/M scenes that may be difficult for some readers. Read at your own discretion.

Devin Rinaldo is the leader of a a kidnapping, ransom and repatriation specialist. Rescuing people is his job. As a Dom he sheds his white knight persona to become a villain.

Sarah is a nuclear physicist, a civilian consultant with a lot of responsibilities. She’s a submissive who’s struggling with doubts and insecurities and feelings of being forgettable and ignorable. She has high hopes when the BDSM Checklist starts but when her assigned Dom doesn’t show, it feeds all her gremlins.

Can I tell you how much I love Lila DuBois? She writes amazing BDSM love stories that not only steam up your pages but weaves in the importance of playing within the rules that keeps everyone as safe as they can be given the circumstances.

In ‘O is for …’ Sarah is clearly struggling and within her internal struggles, she makes mistakes that not only put her at higher risk but also undermines the trust and open communication necessary in BDSM.

Master Dev may not get to play as often as he likes being out of the country on assignment but when he’s at the Club he lets his villainous side out. Sarah intrigues him and when missteps happen, he’s the Dom to correct his little sub and their letter O is the perfect fit as he puts her through over the knee spankings, orgasm control and denial.

By the end I was deeply immersed in their story when it ended. I needed and wanted more and I promptly sent Lila a message asking her how she could cut me off like that? Her response …. I wrote more! Since I received an advance copy, I won’t find out what other goodies she’s added until release but I know and trust that the addition is going to be great.

Great moments:

‘His eyes seemed to sparkle with a little bit of that terrifying kinky delight that was unique to tops.’

‘Master Z’ Zidan Ghaffari and Calista Leonard have history. When the Overseers of the Las Palmas require members to play the BDSM Checklist Game they have no idea they are about to be thrown together to play.

We are dropped into the game while Cali is in the sub garden and receives a bag containing manacles and a mouth-bit. She’s a masochist and loves being bound and helpless. Cali uses BDSM as an outlet for emotional and stress relief.

Seeing Master Ziadan is her Top for the game throws her and she has a hard time staying in scene with memories from their past popping up in her mind.

They start their letter with an intense medical play scene, mostly from Calista’s point of view before moving on to other items on their list. It’s very emotional and erotic and caters to Cali’s masochist needs but I found it hard to connect with Zidan until the later half of the book. He has the aloof sadist down pat.

If you are looking for light BDSM this is not the book for you. It’s intense BDSM play, dealing with emotional baggage that may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I thought it was well written and a great addition to the BDSM Checklist series. The two epilogues were awesome additions.

Master Cain Ward is a mechanical engineer with his own mechanical engineering consulting company. He’s worked on designing electric motorcycles and will design something very special for Victoria. He’s a big guy and used to petite, baby girl subs flocking to him but he’s been crushing on one feisty, power sub that doesn’t hold back or backs down.

Victoria Contreras is a trial attorney. She loves suspension rope bondage on her own terms. The checklist game and Master Cain opens her eyes to hidden thoughts and feelings making her have to re-evaluate herself and her submissive nature.

Every single book in this series is fabulous and this one is no exception. The BDSM Checklist game is suppose to pull their members out of their comfort zone and Vic is not only out of her normal safe play, she has a realization that has her questioning herself. She always thought of her and Master Cain as frenemies but will discover he’s the Dom she’s needs.

‘L is for…’ brings us leather, lace and lectures and Master Cain is creative and diabolical, giving Vic what she needs with various leather implements and toys, but not with out her brand of fiesty. I love how these two enjoyed sparring with each other, both inside and outside of play and the open communication to help work through unknown issues as they came up.

Dubois really gets into the Dom and submissive perspectives, allowing a reader to feel the intensity and the emotional turbulence that can come with intense BDSM play, as well as sensual chemistry between to people falling for each other.

Laugh out loud moment: ‘You broke my vagina.’

Extra bonus at the end of the book includes an epilogue of the owners of the club and how they paired these two for the book. It was a nice extra.

If you enjoy the BDSM genre, you’ll love this book. It has all the feels, sensuality and decadence that make it a five star read.
